Scott Newsome is a renowned alpine guide who dropped by our hotel a few days ago to show us some photos of the area that his Eagle Pass Helicopter service flies to. As our window of opportunity almost slimmed to none we lifted off this morning at seven after one week of waiting time with an exact route in mind. This photo was taken by me to memorize the way down when we got dropped up there. Blair went down the middle testing the slope since we encountered some unstable top layers of the snow. But we had to move quick since overcast was rolling in.
