El Colorado

What a fun day at ElColorado resort! Just up a real windy road from Santiago. I met new shredbuddies that showed me where the good snow drifted. It took someone else picking us up with a car by the road at the end of the run. Thanks to Ariel, John and a new favorite rider!

Chile, the countries capital Santiago with it’s nearby Andes mountain range were amongst the places I’ve not yet snowboarded at. In that case my location choice was quite simple when Volcom’s Veeco Production asked me to add a southern hemisphere “summerboarding” part to the soon to be released 9191 movie. I also chose to arrive a week earlier before the filmcrew around producer Jake Price, photographer Vernon Deck and shredmaster Bjorn Leines would get in. The outlook for my early arrival was to get into the groove of shooting after I hurt my ankle in spring. http://www.9191movie.com
